All referrals ALWAYS starts with a consultation at the surgery. The health problem must first be assessed. If needed, a referral will be sent to the appropriate body

The Danish national health insurance group 1 and 2

Health Insurance Group 1

Treatments by private practitioners are usually free for most problems if you get a referral from us.

Health Insurance Group 2

For treatment of Group 2 patients, all doctors including the general practitioner will charge the patient a fee.  All hospital treatments are free.

Group 7 patients

Without national insurance

Assesment and treatment with any health practitioner is paid in full by the patient
